How can you help? Please publicize the blog! This is not calling to publicize my personal narrative, as much as it is to publicize a larger picture that these narratives may paint. Even though the larger picture is often hard to understand and it remains ambiguous, certain elements come into clarity from daily accounts given from a outsider's (non-Palestinian) point of view (at least I hope).
I am trying to seek out partnerships or collaborative efforts with anyone interested in creating projects dealing with kids, the educational system here in Palestine, creative efforts (like theater or drama) with kids, studying psychological and sociobehavorial implications of growing up under an occupation, post traumatic symptoms in kids and adults as a result of the most recent Intifada, photography projects..(honestly the list goes on and on and on). If you know of any individual, an organization, student group or academic affiliation who may want to conduct field research, please let me know.
Teaching in Palestine has opened up a wide array of windows and doors that are waiting to be explored. I would love to dig into what I can. You can help if you're interested in partnering for a project or serving as a connecting bridge. Thanks in advance.
